Trial Workshops
Three hours with clay.

If you're curious about clay but not quite ready to commit to a longer course, a one-time workshop is the right place to begin. In three hours you'll shape a piece with your own hands, decorate it, and take it home a few weeks later.
We start with the fundamentals of handbuilding — no pottery wheel, just your hands and a few simple tools. Then you make your own piece: a bowl, mug, vase, candle holder, jewellery tray or plant pot. What you make is up to you.
Once your piece is shaped, you decorate it with underglazes in whatever colours and patterns you like. From there I take over: glazing and both firings happen at the studio. Your finished work will be ready for pick-up within two to three weeks.
Everything is completed in a single session. There's no need to come back except to collect your piece.
Liya Works Art Studio is located in the Apparatenfabriek building in Strijp-S, Eindhoven — easily reached from Eindhoven centre, Veldhoven, Best and Waalre.
How it works?

Who Can Join?
No experience is needed. Most people who join have never worked with clay before — the workshop was designed with exactly that in mind.
Come on your own, with a friend, or with your partner. The group is kept small enough that everyone receives proper attention. It also works well as a birthday gift, a team outing, or simply a different kind of evening.
